About Woodinville, Washington:
Woodinville sits at the northern end of the Sammamish River Valley, a short drive northeast of Seattle on either Highway 522 or Interstate 405. Woodinville’s main artery, NE 175th Avenue, cuts through a downtown area occupied by shops and restaurants, as well as small offices. South of downtown, in the Tourist District, highlights include two wineries, a brewery, and romantic accommodations and lodging at the Willows Lodge and its two restaurants, The Herbfarm and Barking Frog. Once a community of loggers, the city retains much of its Pacific Northwest woodland charm, though today its residents are much more likely to work at the nearby Microsoft headquarters than at a sawmill.
