As with most things Trump, this 52-story building at the crossroads of Broadway, Columbus Circle and Central Park is anything but understated. Designed by architects
Philip Johnson and Costas Kondylis, only a portion of Trump’s black-glass tower—fronted by an unmistakable, massive silver globe sculpture—is taken up by the hotel’s 167 rooms. The premises are also home to the lauded French-fusion restaurant Jean Georges and the 6,000-square-foot Trump spa. Rooms have Trump-style basics: marble bathrooms, European-style kitchens with china, crystal glassware and Christofle serving trays, and amazing park and city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Leave it to the Donald to add an extra-special touch by assigning each of the hotel guests their own personal attaché at their service.
