The marriage of food and wine is the focus of this authentic Back Bay bistro. Owned by Chris and Diane Campbell (who used to own Uva), Troquet pairs wine with food, with wine running the show. For instance, a flight of Sauvignon Blanc would require you start with a fresh, tangy goat cheese coated in nuts and deep-fried over an arugula salad. If you are craving a jammy Merlot, you’ll have to deal with a leg of lamb. (It’s a nice problem to have.) The couplings work well for the most part and will teach you a thing or two about relationships that are worth continuing and those that really aren't worth it.
