Although it's out of the way, Tre Kronor warrants a trip to the North Park neighborhood for its sincere welcome and delicious Scandinavian comfort food. The family-run storefront, decked out in the blue and yellow of the Swedish flag, serves meals all day, from muesli and Danish blue cheese omelets at breakfast to Swedish meatball sandwiches at lunch and roast pork with figs at dinner. The servers are cheerful, as is the folk-art décor.
