Since 1962, this classic sports-themed bar and grill has been dear to the hearts of Georgetown University students, faculty, and alums—raucously dear to them when GU teams have a home game or are playing on TV. Vintage sporting prints and rowing paraphernalia contribute to the ambience. You’ll find burgers, pizza, and other bar standards on the menu, as well as desserts (and a good wine list) from the restaurant upstairs, 1789.
