Named for the spectacular Logan Square fountain situated right in front of the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia (see) that houses this café, Swann Cafe is the more accessible of the hotel’s exceptional restaurants. The other, Fountain Restaurant (see), is one of Philadelphia’s premier special-occasion restaurants. Menus are overseen by executive chef Martin Hamann and range from light and lovely dishes such as an appetizer ragout of forest mushrooms and asparagus tips to a zesty sandwich of pulled osso bucco with aged provolone and spicy pepper and onion relish on a Stirato roll. The lunch buffet is a convenient option for business people, and the restaurant caters to children with special children's menus and crayons.
