Celebrated Toronto chef Susur Lee is the genius behind this internationally acclaimed restaurant, where flavors of the East and West are blended together to create innovative, eclectic dishes. Tasting menus, available in five or seven courses, change on a daily basis to reflect the fresh ingredients available at local markets, so you’ll be treated to a new dining experience with each visit. Past menu creations have included soy marinated rock bass with lily bulb puree and dashi black truffle vinaigrette; and Chinese ham with apricot glaze, golden carrot puree, and lentils. The modern dining room, with cream-colored seating and white walls, lacks the pretension of most upscale eateries, as does the knowledgeable staff.
