Great things do indeed come in small packages, and Boston’s Sage is one such small but precious thing. Located in the North End, the 35-seat bistro (reserve ahead), has a warm, rustic charm. Sage is a petite but perfect stage for chef/owner Anthony Susi’s beautiful modern Italian fare, including a stunning selection of handmade pastas like gnocchi and ravioli that are as light as air, but rich in flavor. If you can’t decide, the pasta sampler is a wonderful way to try a few.
