Toscano is one of Beacon Hill's hottest destinations for rustic Italian fare. The exposed-brick dining room is just a few blocks from the State House, so it's often filled with political movers and shakers, but it's also home to many locals who come in several times a week for their fix of chef/owner Vinicio Paoli’s country-style dishes, like braised lamb, roast pork, grilled beef, and homemade pasta. The heavenly ricotta pie is a must for dessert.
