Located in quaint Ballard, this upscale, casual seafood house is a true Seattle landmark, approximately 20 minutes from downtown. Many people find the best part of Ray's to be the café and deck upstairs. The main restaurant's woodwork is very shiplike and has an appealing charm. Numerous old black-and-white photos line the walls. The deck on top is truly outstanding—guests can sit on the benches (with warm blankets provided by Ray's) and watch the boats pass by as they come out of the Ballard Locks to Elliott Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
