Located under the monorail at 5th and Lenora in Belltown, this theatrical restaurant/saloon, owned and operated by Tom and Jackie Douglas, caters to a drinking crowd in search of imaginative rustic food. A horseshoe-shaped wood bar is the focal point of the space, just beating out the spectacular "Palace Feast" mural. The atmosphere is comfortable with Italian chandeliers, velvet drapes, wood booths and tables, and gilded mirrors. Although the American-cuisine menu changes daily, there is always a delicious rotisserie dish (prepared over an applewood grill) available. And a slice of Douglas' legendary coconut-cream pie is the perfect ending to a great meal.
