Nobu’s lively dining room on an otherwise
quiet corner of TriBeCa has a serene vibe
despite the high-energy, high-fashion crowd
that packs in nightly for famed chef Nobu
Matsuhisa’s
spectacular sushi and unique
brand of Asian-Latin-inspired seafood.
Lime, soy, chiles, miso, cilantro and ginger
are flavors frequently employed to accent
many of the chef’s succulent creations. A
signature dish is the almost-melting black
cod with miso. The omakase (chef’s choice)
menu is an option for those with an adventurous
palate. If you can’t get a reservation
(call well in advance and be prepared for a
busy signal), you can always try for a seat at
the sushi bar.
