Not much has changed since this historic institution opened in 1919, and that’s just the way the loyal customers like it. You can still order Welsh rarebit from a grumpy old waiter and enjoy what many swear is the most perfect martini on the planet. The dining room is as frozen in time as the menu, with lots of dark wood, lumpy booths, and archival photos. Hollywood old-timers and up-and-comers meet here to do deals over meat and potatoes.
