North Beach takes a break from Italian fare at this hamburger joint, which beckons with its neon signage. Mo’s is still willing to serve a “bloody,” high-quality burger (if you want it that way), along with thick fries and milk shakes. Burgers and chicken are prepared on a round grill in the kitchen, which is located at the window, just inside the door. Angus beef is ground fresh daily in house, and 7-ounce patties are cooked over volcanic rocks. Fun murals of farm scenes are painted on the side and rear walls.
