The Miramar doesn’t take anyone’s breath away with its look, which is pretty standard. Its guest rooms are clean, but nothing fancy, with basic features such as clock radios, telephones with message lights, and in-room safes. The hotel’s only about a block from Waikiki Beach, however, so it’s conveniently located. Also, with rates under $150, it’s a good value for those beachlovers who want to be near the sand and the action without paying a fortune at a more luxurious address with more to offer. The four on-site restaurants include a Denny’s and Café Peoni, which serves a full American buffet breakfast daily. The hotel also has a pool, but few other amenities.
