As the name suggests, this unique Midtown
hotel was inspired by the New York City
Public Library, which sits one block away.
Each of the 10 floors is dedicated to one of
the 10 categories of the Dewey Decimal
System, which include languages, literature,
history, the arts and religion. Guest rooms
are stocked with books and art relevant to
the floor’s particular topic. In keeping with
this theme, the hotel houses a reading room
and a poetry garden with a terrace for relaxing
and reading.
