Set in the stately Rittenhouse Hotel, Lacroix is a restaurant of understated elegance. The kitchen plays up fresh local ingredients with a delicate French hand, while guests dine in posh, sophisticated luxury and enjoy views of the charming Rittenhouse Square. While acclaimed Chef -Jean Marie Lacroix has retired, the kitchen is still in able hands under the direction of Chef -Matthew Levin. The flexible tasting menu is the best option here, where diners can choose three, four or five-courses, and desserts are generously provided as a gift from the chef. The Sunday Brunch (where the buffet is set up in the kitchen) is a particular Philadelphia favorite.
