This prairie-style mansion was built in 1923 by Walter Fondren, founder of Humble Oil (now Exxon). It is located in the museum district, south of Westheimer, and close to the University of St. Thomas. There are five rooms in the mansion and nine townhouses surrounding a New Orleans-style courtyard. Each guest room is individually decorated.
