Washed in golden hues, dripping with diminutive chandeliers, and appointed with gilded mirrors and wrought-iron railings, this cozy little dining room exudes grace and charm. The place is always vibrant with the West Side’s most tasteful clientele, who return time and again for the superb French fare—like roasted rabbit with herbed polenta and roasted chicken with sweet corn ragout. The best seats are on the railing of the second-story loft, with a view of the dining room and Santa Monica’s shopping district outside. The three-course bistro menu on Mondays is a terrific bargain.
