No expense was spared when enticing famed Chef Philip Lo to create a new restaurant for The Bellagio. Lo, renowned for his contemporary takes on traditional Cantonese and Szechuan dishes, does not disappoint at Jasmine, providing such favorites as Imperial Peking duck and caramelized pork tenderloin with pineapples and bell pepper. His creativity also extends into fresh seafood, creating such new signature dishes as Maine lobster dumplings with ginger sauce, jumbo Gulf prawns with nectar and honey-glazed walnuts and Florida stone crab claws. These delights are served in a dining room built for romance. The décor is not the traditional take on a Chinese restaurant, but rather an exploration of Victorian Hong Kong with such amenities as high ceilings, chintz curtains, crystal chandeliers and windows that overlook the famed Bellagio fountains. Jasmine recreates Imperial China with sophistication and taste without politics.
