The remnants of Walter J. Kohler, Sr.’s boarding house the basis for the opulent, yet inviting Immigrant Restaurant and Winery. No expense was spared in the creation of the building’s charm. The Immigrant Club is divided into six rooms; each of which represents the nationalities that populated Wisconsin at the time: Dutch, German, Norman, Danish, French and English. The cuisine, as well as the ambiance of this award-winning restaurant, is based on Wisconsin’s varied European heritages. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu as well as a tasting menu and a small plates ‘Sampling Menu.’ This culinary haven offers a cheese course that allows guests to sample local Wisconsin Artisan Cheeses. For those that are looking for something lighter, The Sampling Menu features smaller bites including Marinated Olives, Sirloin Carpaccio or Bruschetta as well as desserts such as Vanilla and Armagnac-Roasted Bananas, Lemon-Raspberry Cake or Chocolate Trilogy. You can even choose from Chef Richard Palm's Handcrafted Ice Creams.
