The institutional décor and floral-print fabrics don’t exactly scream “chic,” but this urban renewal-era tower near Massachusetts General Hospital and the Government Center is a road warrior’s dream, with large work spaces and “Executive Edition” floors where rooms are equipped almost as offices. Frequent specials make the hotel a good deal, and although the immediate surroundings are unattractive, Beacon Hill is literally just across the street.
