This restaurant is housed in the historic country inn of the same name, which served as the first Confederate hospital during the Battle of Gettysburg. Guests here are treated to friendly, pleasant service, and an appetizing menu of American-inspired fare that includes some Mediterranean influences. Because most ingredients are obtained from local farmers, the menu frequently changes. Past dishes on the dinner menu, however, have included shrimp and scallops in red pepper fondue with baby spinach and fettuccine; and Black Angus filet mignon with port wine demi-glace and a stuffed potato. Lunch features some lighter options such as Caesar salad, a chicken pesto Panini, a grilled salmon cheesecake.
