This magnificent Victorian mansion, once the childhood home of the late, beloved humorist John Henry Faulk, was opened as a restaurant by sister Mary Faulk Koock in 1945. The center of lovely dining is best known for its Plantation Sunday Brunch, at which brandy milk punch or mimosas set the tone for a spread of salads, meats from a carving station, and numerous other warm dishes, as well as elegant desserts. Brilliant peacocks roam the grounds, and music from a grand piano transports you to another time.
