Guests will feel as though they have stepped into a ristorante in Italy when dining at Figaro, located on the main artery in North Beach. The main dining room is decorated with an elaborate ceiling mural reminiscent of those found in Florence or Rome, and large Italian trattoria posters adorn the walls. Soft gold walls, red-tiled flooring, a small espresso bar, and Italian music enhance the scene. The lovely rear patio is tented and heated and provides a casual dining spot. A traditional Italian menu is constant throughout the year, but a page of specials changes each week. The self-proclaimed “house of gnocchi” also whips up a tasty tiramisu.
