Steve Hanson has built a New York City restaurant empire with Blue Water Grill, Ruby Foo's, and Fiamma. With Dos Caminos, he has introduced the regional cuisines of Mexico to his winning formula of hip scene, cool bar, and crowd-pleasing eats. Dos Caminos is loud and always crowded, so don’t plan on intimate dining, but certainly plan on tasty food. The menu reflects the diverse regions of Mexico, including guacamole made tableside to your desired level of spiciness; warm homemade tacos filled with chile-rubbed shrimp, steak, or pulled pork; and snapper steamed in banana leaves. To wash it all down, margaritas are potent and tasty.
