Since opening its doors in 1982, Don Jose’s has become such a favorite in Homer it has expanded to include restaurants in Kenai and Anchorage. Although known primarily as “the place” to get good Mexican food in a relaxed, comfortable setting, it offers Italian food, too, along with traditional American entrées like cheeseburgers and sandwiches.
