What must have been a run-of-the-mill motel has been transformed into a quaint inn, which takes its name from the real cobblestones—taken from the Carmel River—that cover most of the façade. Country fabrics, wall stenciling, and Shaker baskets complete the country theme. The inn has charm, although some might find the teddy bears a bit excessive. Guest rooms have fireplaces, TVs (small and tucked away in a cupboard), and refrigerators stocked with complimentary soft drinks.
