In the 1920s, it was a hardware store; in the 1930s, it was a banquet hall; and throughout the 1980s, it was a bar. Today, the building tucked away on the corner of Honore and Wabansia—smack-dab in the middle of one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods, Wicker Park/Bucktown—is Club Lucky, a 1940s-style restaurant and lounge. It’s a place to bring a group of friends and enjoy heaping portions of traditional Italian favorites, as well as a martini or two.
