Long a favorite with LA Basin locals, the Burbank airport has direct and convenient connecting flights to major California and US cities. By taking the venerable Cahuenga Pass heading east off the 101 in Hollywood, you could be in beautiful downtown Burbank in minutes, to see mountainous corridors to the north and west, a variety of local parks, and several neighborhoods off Burbank Boulevard with excellent samples of classic California/Spanish/Mediterranean architecture. It is convenient to Glendale and downtown LA to the southeast, the Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks to the west. Major arteries (the 5, 110, and 210) lead directly to or nearby Burbank.
