Located in the stately Waldorf-Astoria
Hotel, the Bull and Bear Steakhouse is a
meat-eater’s haven. The street-level dining
room is elegant in a clubby, macho sort of
way, and the steaks, all cut from certified
aged Black Angus, are fat, juicy and the
way to go, even though the menu does offer
a wide variety of other choices, including
chicken, lamb, potpie and assorted seafood.
Classic steakhouse sides like creamed spinach,
garlic mashed potatoes and buttermilk
fried onion rings are sinful accompaniments.
