Cave Creek, Arizona has not been known for its gourmet cuisine—until now. Up and coming Chef Kevin Binkley brings his expertise in classically influenced American food to the restaurant started by he and his wife, Amy. Both have extensive experience, cooking for some of the most acclaimed restaurants including the Mobil Five-Star award-winning The Inn at Little Washington and The French Laundry. Binkley focuses on creating an experience for the eyes as well as the mouth and stomach. The restaurant invites with warm desert gold and leather brown colors. There is a dining room, intimate wine room and an open-air patio with outdoor fireplace, each decorated with local art. The main attraction, however, is the eclectic menu. There are both a la carte and tasting menus available, with both vegetarian and vegan items offered. Particular standouts include the duck rillette panini, caramel-crusted quail, black bass with baby bok choy as well as blue cheese-crusted ribeye.
