At the foot of Lahaina’s pier and fronting the harbor, this historic hotel is recognized as the oldest hotel in Hawaii. Built in plantation style in 1901, the motel-like property is painted green, with bright white porch railings, supporting columns, and trim and a red tile roof. The Best Western-owned hotel has a landscaped inner courtyard with guest pool. The property takes up much of a city block in the old town area, with the second-floor guest rooms overlaying many shops. Despite the historic façade, the immaculate guest rooms are pretty standard in appearance, reflecting typical mainland furnishings and décor.
