Built around 1905 by a local financier, this three-story Edwardian mansion on Victoria's south side, not far from the water, is a Registered Heritage Property. The inn makes the most of its British heritage both in appearance and attitude. Rich wood paneling is complimented by antique furnishings and period décor. The gardens are kept in the English style, and high tea and sherry are served each afternoon. Each guest room boasts unique décor and features, among them canopied beds, skylights, beamed ceilings, leaded and stained-glass windows, and wood-burning fireplaces.
