An elegant addition to the Hotel Nikko (see), Anzu blends East and West with house specialties of fine sushi and prime cuts of beef, with a Tokyo-trained master sushi chef steering the full-service sushi bar. The restaurant perches on a balcony overlooking the hotel’s unusual lobby and showcases works by local artists. Like the hotel, the crowd is a mix of international travelers and domestic visitors. Anzu also has a cocktail lounge and bar seating where visitors can try an array of sake cocktails.
