This restaurant is set back from the road on a 3-acre wooded lot in a plantation home that dates from 1797. The house was originally built in Washington, Georgia, and it was moved 116 miles to its present location. It took more than three years to take apart the house and then reconstruct it--brick by brick, board by board. There are twelve different dining rooms, and the main dining room has seven working fireplaces. The New American menu has some classics, like veal Anthony (scallopine stuffed with lobster) and pumpkin seed- and coriander-crusted grouper. Anthony's is a good choice for special occasion or group dining.
