Despite the abundance of activities that can be found on Maui, you may not want to go too far past the backyard of this wild and beautiful estate. Two romantic, luxurious “lookout” suites occupy the Huelo Point house, but don’t worry—the owners have a policy of never booking two parties in the suites at the same time. Three additional cottages are scattered on the sprawling property, which is home to banana and macadamia nut trees (which you can pick yourself). Each suite and cottage has access to its own private outdoor shower, surrounded by bamboo and Japanese umbrella trees. The furnishings within each residence evoke images of the Mediterranean with countless skylights and large windows, and bold, clean color schemes of blue, green, and white.
