If you happen to find yourself nibbling on artistic, up-to-the-minute American fare under a vast, dark sky carpeted with stars, faced with stunning views of the McDowell Mountains and with the twinkle of city lights around you, chances are you are at The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North (see), dining at its flagship eatery, Acacia. Decked out in glossy wood floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and serene earth tones, the restaurant is warmed with light from wrought-iron alabaster chandeliers and a two-way fireplace the size of a small home. Acacia is one of the most beautiful places to sink into for an evening of dining and atmosphere. Entrées are divided among steaks and chops (USDA Prime and certified Angus), seafood, and poultry. Signatures include five-spiced tuna with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger; and grilled, dry-rubbed, double-cut lamb chops, making Acacia a perfect place for all sorts of eaters and appetites. Diners are entertained by the relaxing music of a guitar or piano duo Thursday through Saturday nights, and the beautiful outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy alfresco dining.
